top100 now 2000 points

From now on to get to top100, newcomers will need 2000 points, wow! Gandalf just made it to 2000p. Top200 is 1000 points, Dylruss last one in top200.

That's really cool. I know it was hard for me to break into the top 100. Nice to know that we have so many dedicated folders.

WTG Team 32 !!!

FYI, the Top 100 limit was 1500 points on 09-24-2002 (the day I made Top 100).

What is really amazing is that we currently have 18 people with over 10,000 points, and soon to be 20 people (Chuckerants has 9992 and Azhari has 9938).

I thought it would be interesting to resurrect this thread.

Number of points required to be in TOP 100:
09-24-02 1500 points
11-06-02 2000 points
12-18-02 3000 points
02-07-03 4400 points

Number of people with over 10K points:
12-19-02 18-20 people
02-07-03 30 people

Weekly production:
10-02-02 137 pts/week = 43rd
02-07-03 137 pts/week = 239th
02-07-02 650 pts/week = 43rd

Of course the release of the Gromacs proteins has greatly increased the points production for a lot of people, but then a lot of people have added quite a few computers to their folding farms as well. It is quite amazing that 650 points/week only gets you 43rd place on the team.

great stats guys, boy I wish I would have started folding sooner. Oh well, I guess I just have to stomp my way up. Did I mention that there isnt really much competition in the top 50-60 range? I am still passing multiple people each day. but then again I just added a couple GHz and also had a downtime for a couple machines last week

well. I think its great that top 100 is zooming past 6K now.. cuz the day I hit top 100, I will have achieve my prime goal, and I may cut down on my folding.

Fat chance I'll ever catch EC anyhow.. that dude is a folding nutter.... I honestly only know 2 people to be "worse"... Wedo and Nikhsub.
