i have a program that is for a pentium 4, i have a pentium 111, how can i trick the program into thinking that i have a pentium 4?
the program is an executible from a CD-Rom:confused:

It's a game with a demo of the pentium 4 features EX. Video tela., Pastes, and it's has a built in free ISP, but i can't install it because it is saying that i have to have a P4, with Windows XP, which i already have i figure that there has to be a way to trick the Program through the registry or something, i've already tried to search the registry for a key of Pentium,Intel,Pentium 111, and every other way or putting it, i need to know where the program is looking to determine just what kind of processor that i have.

If it asks the OS then you may be able to change it.
If it probes the Hardware directly then you cant fool it.
