Trouble running Abit TH7 II at 2400+ speeds

I switched over from a P4T-E, and I am having trouble running at speeds over 2400Mhz.

1.6a that could do 2400Mhz will not do 2400Mhz on the TH7 II
2.4b that could do 2700Mhz will sometimes not even post at 2400Mhz

Everything else is the same, and the P4T-E even had a crappier PSU (generic 340W), so I switched to an Antec 350W. I flashed the TH7 II to the newest bios from abit.com, and I cannot figure out whats wrong. It seems to be inconsistent with what other people are having.

Is there something you guys are doing to run at high speeds that I'm not doing?

I'm back on the P4T-E, running a generic 350W psu with very low 12V and 3.3V ratings (14/18 Amps), and can run a 2.4B at 2700 with no problems.

In fact, its doing ~1.57 Vcore and Prime95 with temps less than 50C with crappy white thermal goop. On the Abit TH7 II, my 1.6a at 2133 with Prime95 is pushing out 60+ C.

The 2.4 b should work real well if you fix the pci speed and set the ram to 300. most likely your problem is the ram, unless you didn't fix the pci agp speed
