I've played through most of the episodes as a good cop and am going to go back as a bad cop and love the game.

Freakin great 1 liners too.

"Go ahead and run, you'll just die tired!"

Pretty good story, pretty funny, lots of action. I like it.

The biggest problem I've seen is its too easy, but this can be remidied by not getting upgrades or just getting upgrades as needed.

Overall, great game.

ps I could compare it to GTA, but its seems quite a bit different, atleast to me. I really love GTA and this game, but for different reasons. Please don't crap on my thread by saying GTA SuXX0Rz or True Crime SuXX0Rz, put some thought into any comments and be constructive. i.e. I like x in GTA better because they did this. Or visa versa if you are going to compare games.

I heard it was just a cheap rip of GTA, but i havent actually played it so myabe its good, but frankly im tired of the bad cop thing, i mean jeez it was too much once Max Payne came out now we have like different bad cop games... Like one of the reviewers in EGM said

"it would be interesting if someone made a police game with an out of shape cop with below average marksman ship, at least it would be original"

yeah the commecial made me thing it was just max payne and GTA mashed into one game to make a quick buck. I didnt look intereested but maybe i will have to give this one a try. Stupid console contoller

I rented it and played it for about an hour. It was pretty stupid. The coolest thing about it, I thought, was that the old cop in the gun cage that you talk to like a father figure sounds like Christopher Walkin.

It is NOT in any way a GTA3 killer. The kung-fu isn't that great, the graphics are sub-par (especialy after seeing games like Prince of Persia), the music is all ghetto... I don't know. I just didn't like it. It also wasn't very structured. But then again, I wasn't really motivated to find out where to go anyway, so that didn't help.

All I know is I wouldn't buy it. GTA is much more fun. I mean, who the heck wants to play a cop that is pretty much a criminal anyways? You can run around and shoot and/or run over innocent people for like 10 minutes before any chaos actually starts.

I just didn't like it.

I don't think it could be a GTA killer, it seems a bit more like a linear action game. Its obviously similar to GTA, but to me its got more of an action game feel to it, so if you haven't played it don't go into it expecting GTA.

Haven't tried bad cop yet, so I'll see whats different about that next, but being a good cop is cool. You get the presision aiming skill and take out the guys arm or leg and get good cop points for not plugging him in the head or just randomly shooting him. Its cool flashing the badge or firing a warning shot to get people to give up... or they unload their weapon on you, lol. Its pretty funny to frisk random pedestrians and find drugs or illegal weapons on old ladies. Its also fun to fly around the city in the yellow Ferrari type car... with out hitting people;) You lose good cop points for running people over, so 10 minutes of that and you will be in the negative for sure.

If I were interested in it, I'd rent it. Like I said its biggest weakness is its too easy, there should be difficulty settings. There is some stealth action, which is a plus, but its too easy too. The aiming system is wierd, but once I got precision aiming it wasn't so bad.

I was just thinking about the Kung-Fu and its definitely not up to par with an action game, but its definitely not the punch punch kick of GTA. I'm look forward to seeing what Rockstar will do with the next GTA.

Speaking of which, I took out the Ferrari on a joy ride that wouldn't be saved and there was a crime with three people doing something a bunched up and I was going top speed when I got there, did a sweet @SS power slide and took them all out. Crime resolved, lol.
