Trying to get beyond 3.1GHZ

If your motherboard is the Biostar NF520 that is an excellent overclock. The NF series had fairly crappy BIOS's for overclocking. I have a TF520 A2 and even with a better BIOS than the NF520 it isn't a great overclocker. My X2 4800 will go to 3200 mhz on other boards but on the Biostar 520 the highest I can get is 3000.

That is what I read around the net. I was surprised that I was able to even hit 3.4GHZ with a biostar board. I wont be buying that brand again, but still good to know that I was one of the lucky people and let other people with my board know what may and may not be possible with the NTF52.

Next board is going to be ASUS or GIGABYTE, running the Phenom 2 3.4GHZ.
