Hey i have all the parts except for my mobo i jus wanna see if stuff will turn on and all, but since i have no mobo my pc wont turn on, is there any way to turn on an atx psu without a mobo?

so i dont have to do anything to the power button cable? and which one of you two actually tried your method cause both of you guys are suggesting jumping different things

I've been firing up PSUs like this for a couple of years and it works fine. You don't need any case cables, and the only switch you need to use is the one on your PSU.

A koolance manual that I have (I don't have the case though) says almost the same with stool, instead of the fact that it jumps a pin left of the right pin (pin16).
