Motherboard: Tyan S1854 Trinity 400
CPU: Pentium III 500 Mhz
I've been poking around in the BIOS settings for the board and it looks like there's a whole set of things I could do to get the CPU to run faster. I can change the bus speed (nothing unusual) and it also has an option for autodetecting the PCI and RAM clocks. There's also a set of jumpers on the board that serve as a clock multiplier. But no matter what I change, I'm stuck with the same CPU speed. There's no option for changing core voltage, which could be part of my problem.
Can anyone help me with this? I understand quite clearly that I'm going to need some serious cooling if I'm going to be successful in this.
