My present rig uses a mix of Tygon R-3603 and Tygon 2275 tubing. The 2275 is more rigid than the R-3603, is harder to kink and makes a tighter radius. It has stayed "clearer" than the R-3603 (after about a year of use).

I'm about to build another radical water-cooled duallie, so am back in the "great tubing consumer mode". :D

But here's my thought... 2275 is considered "smooth bore high purity tubing" and works better than R-3603. Tygon S-50-HL is considered "ultra-smooth bore high purity tubing", so it may be even better than 2275.

Have any of you used S-50-HL? If so, what can you say about it?

*bump*

My R3603 is way too soft for my liking and kinks after a few months. Let me know if you try the S-50-HL and if it's better

I've got R3603, and it works fine for me. I haven't had a problem with it. Its been in there for about 8 months now, and not a single kink has developed.
