Check out this thread at the procooling.com forums.

Looks like the stuff combines the clarity and non-porousness of vinyl with the best qualities of silicone (less memory, stretchier, etc) only more so.

Best deal on it around is at Dtek Customs

He's got the thick walled stuff for $2.65/ft right now, though when I talked to him he had told me it was going to be $2.99/ft. So it might go up.

It can also be had from U.S. Plastics and this site. for $3.20/ft roughly.

In a previous life I used a ton of Tygon tubing. The stuff
is very good. In fact, we never found anything better, but
is is not perfect. It DOES have a memory. For WCing you
DO want clamps.

I'd definitely use clamps anyways, just to be safe. Is the memory any worse than silicone? From that review it seemed to be less of one than Silicone has. But at the least it will stay crystal clear, which is a good thing.

Memory worse that silicone? Yes, a little worse, but
it is a little tougher. If you install and uninstall your
system a lot like Hoot, it might last longer. :D

ive herd the detek stuff sucks...something about it cant bend that much..

Where'd you hear that? This is Tygon we're talking about here. He just got it in. It's not the same old silicone or vinyl stuff. Tygon is much better than either. I don't think there IS such a thing as poor Tygon. Go read the procooling thread I linked to if you don't believe me.

haha yea i got that info FROM PRO COOLING..i know its great stuff but ive herd of some bad batches

Yeah, but how do you know that the batch that Dtek got is bad? Do you have some sort of psychic premonition of it, perhaps? The only thing I've seen anyone say about it is that the stuff at Dtek is only medium wall (3/32"), not thick wall (4/32" (that's 1/8" for those of you who failed math). The stuff that was tested on the procooling forum was only 2/32" (1/16") walls I believe.
