Ultra 1024mb claiming to be TCCD

I wrote them about it and there ansewer was if you wanna rma it.You have to talk to accounting or something dumb like that.I wrote back and told them i dont have the ram but i wanted to know if it really was TCCD..lol i know it cant be .

This was the same problem awhile back with Buffalo sticks claiming to use TCCD's on their 1GB and turned out to be something else (UCCC's).

Yeah not quite TCCD but UCCC is no slouch either, they do 250+ which is damn good IMO for 2gb.

Not good when they go for $400 for one 1GB stick!

For almost half that price you could get some Mushkin eXtreme DDR500 or G-Skill's HZ's DDR500 as well.

I corresponded with Bruce (a/k/a Memory Man), the Buffalo rep, a while back (probably the same thread that RedDragonXXX referenced above) and Bruce (he is their memory Tech guy) told me that TCCD could not be used in 1GB sticks. I've had other confirm this, but he was the most "connected" of those that have stated this.

Based on the available information, I don't believe that the Ultra is TCCD, Samsung...perhaps, TCCD...no.
