Unlocking Question

Edit: After i done this. http://www.logan.eclipse.co.uk/unlocking_tbred's_&_bartons.htm Stuck a small wire in the 2 holes. When I go over the default mutiplier. It turns x14 into like x5 why is this.

my friend, my pos chip is doing pretty much the same thing!! I need answers too!!!

My CPU is not locked, it let me change multipliers in the 5-12.5 range. Now, after the wire mod, I can see the higher multiples, and I can SELECT them. Things look great!

Then, when I reboot, it boots with the LOWER multiple equivalent!


Totally BS. I'm ****ed. I want my higher multiples!

Same thing here... The others up to 12.5 work fine. Kinda sucks for me because im stuck with pc100 ram and its really killing the total cpu speed.
