I just ran the new SiSoft Sandra 2001 FE and it has a system performance tips wizard- and i did all the tweaks it said and i have 2 ?'s first it told me to run my monitor at 75hz instead of 60 which i was at- and then my screen was smaller, also it said that my video card BIOS was old and needed updating-can anyone help me with this

I actually updated a BIOS on a TNT-2 Vanta LE. You have to get a program from your vid card mfg. (Nvidia flash318.zip) is the one I used and it was written especialy to do this. I got mine from e-VGA. Then they always have new BIOS's to use. I have a new one available for my new card, but it is running fine so I will not do it. I could send this stuff to you if you want.

where would you find a geforce 2 ultra bios update?

I didnt even know you can update a video card bios before today

Go to your video card mfg website and they should have it.

Outside of the Quadro hack I wasn't aware that any cards needed a bios update, I always thought that the bios functions were rather simple and that the real work was being done through the driver releases...
