Upgrade Barton 2500+

I am building a new computer for my dad and I am considering giving him my old system (in sig), but I searched a long time in local shops to find an unlocked Barton 25 and I hate to give it up considering I haven't even OC'd it over 2G yet due to poor cooling.

Would the newer A64 Venice 3200 provide any advantage over the 2500 if I use the XP-120 to cool both? I am flip flopping between whether to give this away or keep it and build the folks a cheaper system. All my folks do is surf por....or check their email.

2500+ are dime a dozen now bought 2800+ 75+10 sipping ebay and 3 2500+ on ebay for 65+8 shipping All IQYHA stepping .Hers an auction i posted on another thread .If i need a new board and cpu ide buy this look at the price for a An7 and 2500+.

I second that. A64's run very cool, so you can have more performance and quiet as well.
