upgrade to Asus z270i question

I have a mini itx gigabyte z270n wifi with i7700k and 16gb corsair 2400mhz. I'd like to change my motherboard whit an Asus z270i in order to overlocking there. So, i ask if there are performance difference or no.

I have no experience with either board, but they are both z270 boards and should both offer oc abilities. I would venture that the performance is similar under all conditions
