upgrade video card for 4K UHD and 10 bit HDR media pc

I want to upgrade my media pc video card to watch movies en tv shows in 4K UHD 60 fps en have 10 bit HDR support
my systeem is now
- Athlon X4 850K
- Sapphire R7 260X
- 8 Gb DDR3 2133mhz

if i'm right you need a video card whit a hdmi port 2.0
i want to change it to a MSI GeForce GT 1030 2G LP OC
it have a HDMI Versie 2.0b

is this a good option ??????:confused::confused::confused:

you planning on streaming only? if so nothing wrong with that card, it has the lastest VP engine from NV. as far as 60FPS thats going to be up to the content nothing you can do about it.
 
if your going to be playing games on it, then go for the RX550 or the GT 1030.
 
It's only Media movies tv and music i have it setup with a samsung 4K tv and just want to get the most out of it
 
sorry ment not playing games, those two are the only ones to suggest. they are both the cheapest card to get the latest Video Decoding engine from both AMD/ATI and NV. this way any decoding done from say netflix or someone else that uses the VP9 codec, it will all be done on the video card. 4k would be way to much unless you have a newer Intel which can handle the VP9 codec, amd i would need to look at based on the model.

*edit* after now seeing that system specs would put in. Going with either RX550 or 1030GT is the way to go, brand is up to you.
