Now, I have about $240 to spend. Upgrading which part will yield the best "real-world" performance increase?

WD Raptor? (Keep in mind I'll have to buy SATA controller I if go with this route or buy a new mobo)

Another stick of Corsair PC3200 or possibly PC4000 for future concerns?

Or....Save the money for something better...

Thanks.:)

WOW!!!

It looks like your system is really good. I wouldn't spend money on it just yet because it looks like it's really fast. If you really wanted to get something, I would get a DVD-RW, but that's my opinion.

Dude, you already have a really nice system, but if you want to spend the money ide say RAM.

Now, i have no "real world" data to say this would help the most, but some corsair pc4000 DDR 500 or 466 would be AWSOME and would still be usable with any other upgrades you threw at it. It would be overkill for you current system, but you get the idea.

Like doriman said a DVD-RW or another pereprial(sp?)...

You dont HAVE to spend the money do you?

Hows that working out for you? I've been looking at external water cooling but the reviews I've read have been mixed.

Your system is a very nice one, and to have already softmoded, overclocked your vid, and overclocked a 1700xp that well I doubt you need to much input on this :D but if you pressed me I would say go with a new monitor, you didn't list it so it can't be your pride and joy :D

How about something not hardware related. Like a new monitor, a comfy desk chair, a better desk, speakers, some added storage for all those miscellaneous computer parts? How about a few new games to put that great rig of yours to some use :D

Nah I don't think I need a new desk or monitor.

Thought It'd be useless to list because I wasn't going to upgrade/purchase those two.

Dell 1900FP (Rebagged Samsung 191T) will serve me well for a couple more years. :)

Well If you guys say so...I guess it's best to save my money for now.
