Thanks. I actually ended up switching them around. Not sure if they were not seated correctly but it wouldn't post. So I of course tried with just the old kit, and posted. Then the new kit in 2 and for, and posted. Then added the old kit in 1 and 3, and posted. I like the white one visible from the outside. Plus I won't get the kits mixed up in the future.
In terms of needing 32GB, I think it's pretty rare. DCS is just a bloat of an old engine with a bunch of new models packed into it. I could have possibly skimmed by on 16GB, but when you start adding things like browser windows to look at server status pages, and communications programs etc, it gets pretty tight fast.
