"bucking voltage" and the icon next to it sugest that it is a problem w/ voltage fluctuation......it says the input voltage was only 50v at one time....i dont know how or when your unit only recieved 50v...but, correct me if im wrong...maby it dammaged or"confused" your unit....does it say anything under help in the utill??

edit: i hope that im right cause this post got me my 3rd star w00t

I am not sure why it said 50v but I did unplug it for a second just to play with it and see happens. I checked all the help files and nothing explained bucking voltage, I even did a google on it. I finally called a tech buddy of mine and he said bucking voltage is exactly what you thought. it is caused by voltage fluctuations. I am going to try to find a way to turn down the sesitvity on it.

If the input dropped to 50 then that would be caused by a brown-out (even a very brief one that might only be detected by the UPS) wouldn't it? Generally its impossible to drop the voltage that much by events on the same circuit, one that massive would trip it. General fluctuations are less than 5-10 volts usually...
