I am wanting a solution to something that I've thought stupid for so long. Which manufacturers or models feature mounting your mobo on the left side of the case instead of the right? It makes total sense to not have heat travelling back through your boards. Should I spring for a new case or just flip my current case upside down and flip my drives over? Thanks guys:attn:

I ran my Antec Sonata upside-down until I got my custom case built. The door over the CD's wasn't too user friendly, but all I had to do was unstick the feet and stick them on the (former) top.

I'd say try it out on your case to see if that's a solution or if a WTX case is for you.

Oh, not all BTX cases will take an ATX mobo, so make sure before you buy.

Cooler Master makes a mini-Centurion for mini-ATX that mounts the mobo on the left wall. Video card ends up at the top of the case near the power supply, and the CPU gets a nice supply of cool air from a 120mm fan at the bottom front of the case. There's also a cpu vent that can mount an 80mm fan and room to put two more 80mm fans over the I/O board. It's a very sharp-looking case and it would be my first choice if I were to build a mATX rig.

A Silverstone TJ-06 is another good choice for a BTX style case.
