I received my reservoir (aquatube) today and while it looks like it'll serve the exact purpose I needed it to, there is one problem. The thread converters (1/8" to 1/4") end with a hole that is only 1/4" ID wide. Its only about 1/4" where this is, but it does concern me a bit in terms of flow rate. I've heard two conflicting arguements. One being that the loop is only as good as you’re most restrictive point. Although I thought that the most restrictive point was the waterblock, which would make this seem a little odd. The other is that the restrictive points don’t affect the entire loop as much.

Another issue is that the converter isn’t exactly the right size. It’s 1/2” ID while the barbs I’m using connect to the threads with an OD of about 3/4". Do they make even more thread converters that are 1/2" ID to 3/4" ID?
