I was going to run a K62 450 on this new mini ATX system I'm building ...Its a backup system that I can lug round my mates.

But I'm getting a 650 duron off ebay to run in my system instead.

Buuuut will this spec run on a 145 watt PSU?

* Socket A Mini ATX board
* 650Mhz Duron
* 48X CDROM
* 20Gb Seagate UDMA-66 HDD
* Sony FDD
* 40mm Fan
...Everything else is onboard

Its a A-Open PSU if that makes a difference.

I really appreciate hos men and women!

i personally would not run anything on less then a 250 watt..

it will run but i dout it will be all that stable. you may see some crashing and lockups..

you dont have a lot in there so i say try it...

If you notice any problems with it, it will most like'ly be with the PSU, and if thats the case up to a higher wattage one.

Recently I had my PSU die and I ran just the mobo and 1 hard drive with a 150W from an old e-machine. Mine is a 1.33 T-bird. It ran fine for about 4 days. For what you are running I suspect a 200W would work, but the 250W would be prefered.
