I just bought a MS-6309 new, and setup everything with my old Celeron 300a in there and pressed power-on and I dont get a picture.

All the fans are spinning and the Diagnostic LEDS are all red which means 'System Powering On'.

So I have power, I tried both an AGP and PCI vid card and nothing.

Do you think its my CPU or what? What does it sound like it is?

Thanks, in advance.

You would think its either MB or CPU as long as your hard drive is fine and your IDE cables are put in correctly. Its really hard to say to bad you cant borrow a CPU to see if thats it.

Thx

but i figured it out

The mounting screws were shorting out the board... so i took it out, set it up in the box it came in, and am running in there no problems :)

I forgot how much the 300A kicks ***.... its now running at a blazing 558mhz

Ill have to put it in a case soon :D :D i might use a suitcase instead
