oh those...the GeForce4 Mx420...but if you can get a little more money and get the GeForce3 Ti200, only $139 on newegg for the gainward golden sample which will overclock to GeForce3 Ti500 stats!

if youre getting them for the same price...the Geforce2 Ti200...but i think the Radeon 7500 is a much better deal....the MX420 is SDRAM and the 7000/VE has no hardware T&L engine.....

No....the MX420 uses SDRAM....it would get spanked by a Geforce2 GTS.....

I need a card now, I'm heading to the store in a few. (Not the best choice, but you have to do what you have to do.) The three listed are about the same price, about $100. I'm planning on buying a better vid card soon and this one will go in another machine. I just need it to watch DVDs and play strategy games (civilization, etc...) -Thanks

But if that "7000" is a misspelled "7500," I'd get a 7500 over a Ti200.

in that case i would go with the 7000 Ati's DVD quality is unmatched and unless youre playing like Diablo II should be more than enough for civ gams...

sry, didn't relize that the mx420 used SDRAM...thought all the new cards were DDR...damn Nvidia and their trickery!
