I have a set of Creative 2.1 speakers which I really am enjoying at the moment. Soon, I plan on upgrading my motherboard to the Abit NF7-S 2.0. I plan on using the onboard Soundstorm audio, and giving my SB Live 5.1 to my brother. I was wondering if I the standard light green output plug will work with the S/PDIF output or do I need some sort of special cable?

if the little output plug has a small pin like thing, then you should be fine. the connector on the mobo has a small hole. If not, you will prrobably need a special cable/adapter thingy.
