I have a dual UV light kit in my computer and the problem is that when i switch it on, everything in my pc(that has a motor) seems to slow down, even my waterpump. I know that it can't be my PSU cause i just got a pre-released 480W PSU from thermaltake for reviewing. I also don't have a peltier or ne thing else that would suck way too much power, just the basic components wit a watercooling kit, (only 3 fans in the computer).

Come on now! Just because you have a pre-realease TT PSU for testing doesn't mean it is failure proof. Heck alot of times, pre release versions of products can be worse than the final product because the bugs have not been worked out. I assume you have another PSU laying around. Try it out and see what happens.

I know this is getting off topic and most likely not needed, but i just dont get the whole light in the computer thing, it's not like a car that you only use in public, most of the time when your on your computer your the only one to see it.

let alone it doesnt actually DOOO anything

but to each his own ;)

some of us use lighting because it looks cool, and although we are not driving the pc down the highway, some of us want to make it look cool for ourselves.

maybe some of us don't care if 100 others see our work, we like it, and when folks come to see what we have going on, it's a plus

but don't do pc mods........or car mods to impress....others. it's my pc, and i should be impressed first...
