V I/0 3,4 to 3,6.....

Sorry for my english...but i have a problem....last week i have tried to take the v I/0 to 3,6.....when i starts the system it beeps....i returned it to 3,4....but now....the cpu sometimes doesn't do the boot at 960...before it posts at 992.....when rarely it posts at 960 and i turn off the pc...it dont repost at 960 but only 936....what i have done????do i have damaged something???cpu...mushkin???chipset...???
oh sorry i have a 800 sl4ma@944 1,85 rock solid with seti.....
