Now it says phisx so is it even anything to do with CPU??
cheers in advance

Is your cpu overclocked? The Vantage Tests are run entirely by the cpu (which is why they have such low FPS. It's a measure of how well the cpu can handle physics computations since they are typically handled by the GPU. If you're cpu is overclocked, then that is the reason. If it's not, then try reinstalling the program or double check your ram. It points you to a file, but 99 out of 100 times, cpu instability will cause a file to load wrong or similar issue during the test.

yeh its overcloccked to 4.4 which is stable with Prime95 ive lowered it to 4.0 and still the same error.Still not sure what its got to do with nvidias phsx when i have 2 5870s.
Meh stock cpu it is then...

What's all of your hardware? You can create a signature by going to your User CP and then choosing "Signature" on the left.

I have a single 5870 and a 2600k and I have no issues running Vantage. Did you try reinstalling? What operating system are you on?

I've had problems kind of like this before with CPUs at stock. Are you using Vantage's version of PhysX? I've had to uninstall my current PhysX driver and install the version Vantage uses by either reinstalling Vantage or doing a repair install.

I downloaded latest vantage and it updated my current one and noticed it installed Phsx and now it works, perhaps Phsx needed to be there regardless of gpu,
Now my ops on that second test was 35 ops is that normal?
I'm
Running i72600k @4.0
5870 crossfire
P67 extrem4 gen3

I'm not sure what the scaling rate is, but if you can get to 4900, then you can compare. :)

Also, I mentioned in my first response (post # 2) that the cpu tests are run completely by the cpu. Screen renderings, physics processing. The whole shebang. So having physics installed is a requirement...

Do you get less heat if you use less multiplier and more buss speed?
Also how fast does your temps raise cuz, just put another thread up,mine as soon as i run prim95 shoot to like 65 at 4.6 in a split second and they drop just as fast :O

From the looks of your GPU-z screen shot, you're running reference cards... In Windows 7, I use MSI Afterburner 1.5.0 Extreme Edition. It might be a bit of a search to find though since it's a benchmark-related version. The newest versions should take you up there. I also have voltage control unlocked. That run was done at 1300mv vGPU.
