Variable resistors

does anyone know where I can get a 1000ohms variable resistor?

this is the last part I need and Im having the hardest of time finding one=/

I glanced at the article, but did not read it entirely. Just wanted to point out, if the article did not mention this, that you will not be able to get maximum speed out of the fan(s), if you need it. The 3 terminal regulator typically only puts out a maximum of Vin-1.2V or so. Most fans develop most of their velocity in the last 2 volts of their rating. If the article mentioned that, i apologize for being redundant.

Seriously, they run about $1.19 at Radio Shack.
