Just wondering if anyone knows what was the maxium speed p3 that could be used on this chipset? it has both slot1 and socket 370 and currently has a p3 600eb (133mhz fsb) in it, was just browsing ebay and came across some 1ghz p3s for cheap so it got me wondering :p

Manual hasnt been updated (is a jetway mobo) shows max cpu as p3 550mhz with future support (and im running a 600 in no problems) i know i cant run the tulatin(sp?) p3s without a converter but recon i could run the fastest p3 coppermine ones have the volt and fsb settings for them

well i had a old biostar board that i ran my 1100celly at 1350 so i know up to 1350 but i thk max p3 was a 1.1ghz i could be wrong tho but celly in p3 werent all that bad only differtence is 133mhz bus on p3 and 100mhz on celly 128k cache on celly and 256 on p3 i ran both celly 1100 oc to 1235 and a p3 1ghz overclocked to 1125 and celly beats it in benchmarks.

Guess I will add,

I used to have a Gigabyte running the Via Apolla 133A chipset and it ran my Celeron 1.0GHz at 1.3GHz with the stock AMD Cooler. I know my board had jumpers for multiplier settings but they made no difference because the chips are locked. I did notice that my board had settings for 140FSB and 150FSB but I could only boot up at 140FSB, effectively 1.4GHz, but was no where near stable.

Hmm my old celly... those were the good old days. Coupled with my Kyro2, that thing was a budget gamers dream...
