I have a FIC AZ11E motherboard with the VIA KT133 CHIP SET and was woundering if there was any way to get more performence from it, e.g new driver etc.. and if so where could i down load them.

O' and by the way what sort of FSB should i be able to get out of it, i can get up to 107 FSB with my duron 750 which brings it up to 803 with i CPU temp of 40 at full load.

Thanks

U could update ur motherboard drivers, to get a better performance.

107MHz on the FSB is actually pretty nice. A lot of people can't get passed 103MHz, but if u want higher speed u could try to up the VIO voltage, that often helps. U could also try to add some cooling in ur northbridge and ur PLL chip, that should also give u a few MHz.

I used to have one before I got my KT7A. At the FIC website in the bios update section, they had a bios that supposedly supported the new 266 MHZ fsb, I don;t know whether or not it works, it also fixed a couple of other things too. Go to WWW.FICA.COM, and look there.

The AZ11E can change CPU multiplier.... if your cpu is unlocked. It's actually a decent overclock board for the price, most other boards in its price range dont have multiplier adjustment. You can use WPCREDIT and WPCRSET to tweak memory settings and other settings that your BIOS doesnt give you.

:) Thanks

What sort of cooling should i put on my north bridge. and were would i find it (what site). Thanks again.

Well, looked at ur board at fica.com, and I saw that there was nocooling on the northbridge at all, so u could add a heatsink, or a fan, or both.
