Video card (4870) temps too high?

stock cooler that comes with the saphire 1gb

actually
componants out of case still
on motherboard box

i thought it ran hot factory too

but no artifacts up to 800/1000
even when running a bit hot
so i didnt rma it

iam pretty sure
iam gonna get a better HS for it
and ram sinks
