I'm not sure if this would work for anyone but its sure worth mentioning to everyone. I have been getting that error for a lot of things. I couldnt even run Windows Experience Index without it locking up or displaying the error.
Download Graphics driver... I downloaded 10.11 because thats the last drive I remember working good for me.
Download Latest On-board sound driver
First off an AMD REP refered me to this site and download the KB which is for TDR problems
from support.microsoft.com/kb/2400157 under the "Hotfix Download Available" and click the link. You will have to sign up for it and the file will be emailed to u with a password.
After you install it will require a reboot.
After your Done I suggest Uninstalling your Video Card completely.
Also Remove Microsoft Visual C++2010 and 2005 any other like it.
What I also did was Remove my On-board sound and AMD Hi Def Sound from Device manager just in case they could also be conflicting.
After all that is uninstalled you reboot into safe mode and run Driver sweeper to remove all remnants of ATI Files.
Reboot back into normal mode
Install your Audio Driver
Reboot
Install Graphics Driver (this will reinstall Microsoft Visual C++b as well.)
So far I'm Running smoothly about to try in on WoW right after I update.
Hope this works for you guys.
