Short story:
P5WD2-E premium
OCZ powerstream 520
no overclock

X800 GTO works by itself
X1900XTX works by itself
Put both cards in, Windows loads and then reboots
System loads fine insafe mode.

Long story:
I had the x800 in slot 1 and the x1900 in slot 2. The system wouldn't boot(just bios beep). Noticed I was running 8x with x1900 in slot 2 and slot 1 empty. Put x1900 in slot 1 and x800 in slot 2 system loads and then reboots

I'm a folder and trying to run windoze on the x800 and fold on the x1900
I think I may have a driver or IRQ issue but im not sure.

Anyone?

try booting with one card, uninstall all video card drivers, shut down. Install both cards and power on. Reinstall video drivers.

if it does not recognise it or even know it is there, try reinstalling the drivers or even a bios update or the mobo.

i dont think he wants crossfire, just to run 2 cards at the same time.
maybe your mobo does not support this

ran driver cleaner. system booted with both video cards no problems.

installed cat 6.11 drivers. system crash.

Driver issue verified. I guess the only other option is to start mixxing and matching different drivers.
