I have just built a new PC everything seems to power up cept I am not getting a POST beep at all or any beeps for that matter, when a picture comes up on the screen its says "Video cable connected" and does notheing else. I was using the DVI to VGA adapter havent tryed the DVI though.

I did some diggin around here and noticed that someone said these monitor SCEPTRE X20WG were shipped with bad DVI cables but since I haven tryed that yet I am at a loss as to what the issue is.

Only install the essentials. Video card in the correct PCI-e slot, cpu, and one stick of RAM. And see if it POSTs.
