Kinda new to overclocking and I got a question. I was able to push my GeForce2 MX 400 to 220 core and 356 ram from 200/286 default. Thats what I got it to with perfect video quality using 3dmark2001, I could push mem up to around 386 with perfect video in all cept the DOT3 Bump Mapping test, anything over 356 caused problems. I ran it though 3dmark at 386 4x time with no promlems cept the bump mapping one. I havent tried 386 with any games or truly extended testing, so should I worry much about the bump mapping test, or just settle for 356?

is the geforce2 xm capable of processing the environment bump mapping?

It sounds like you'll crash if you try to run games at 386
You only know by trying. Or was it "frying"? hmmm

It skipped the enviormental bump mapping one, but did the DOT3 test. And gonna fire up some games at 386 to see how it goes.

it skips that one because the geforce2 mx doesnt have the support for the environment bump mapping, its not due to the overclock.
