Hello, I was wondering what the people here in the forum think is the best voice-activated software. Which one is the most accurate in terms of interpreting speech patterns? I want something that's easy to use and precise. Any suggestions?

I know a lady who has MS and needs to use AOL's point and speak which is produced by Dragon...I suppose its a watered down version of naturally speaking. It seems to work OK for her. I would love to upgrade her computer but She has lost the program disk in a move and it is a vital piece of software for her if she wants to use her computer......

Dragon naturally speaking seems to work pretty good once you get it trained to your voice

My grandpa uses Dragon naturaly speaking and he has a pretty heavy german accent. You do have to take the time to train it though. Do you have office xp? Office xp has a dictaion program bulit into it. You have to have a usb mic to use it though. But if you are doing voice dication a usb head set is almost a must any way.
