Voltage mod on A7V133

Can not go beyond 10@146mhz. Was wondering if the voltage mod with the 24k ohm resistor would help or be a waste of time, or should I connect the L7 bridges for a default voltage of 1.85. (MY understanding is that the default voltage is used for POST and not what is set in bios.)
My system: 1.2 AXIA w/266FSB, A7V133 mobo, Tonicom 256mb cls2, watercooled idle at 29C, full load 38C,
