How high can the CPU voltage be set with this motherboard. I am considering purchasing one, but would like high voltage options since I have watercooling.
Umm all you need is a vcore mod. Its strange but if you get to running on a chip with low default voltage (1.5 or 1.6) it won't boot at a cold boot when your in the 2400mhz at around say 1.9+ because at start its only fed the default voltage or 1.5 or so and its not enough to get the thing going. Also overvolt will kick in at about 2.1volts. if you need any more goodluck on cooling it! and the current 1700+DLT3C don't like high voltages and the DUT3C do. Watch your 5 volt rail as high overclocks will lower them as explained by hood and a mosfet mod will solve it so running the best power supply you can get is actually worth it at speeds above 2400mhz ( vantec or 510w turbo cool ) look thru the stickys to find the mods they aren't really that hard to do. Please use active cooling on north and south bridge When trying to attain 220+ fsb as even on my rev2 board they get really hot.
Last do research on the correct stepping that overclocks with less hassle.Where to buy Hope i helped as i have had five successfull boards
Currently I am running a 1600+ overclocked at around 2.1v and a 550W Antec Truepower. So I assume I should be fine to run high volts on a Barton 2500 as well, right?

I guess this explains my cold boot problem, never heard of that before. I've had my tbred-a to 1.8ghz prime95 stable, but run into this cold boot problem. I just ordered from excaliberpc last night, so it won't be a problem much longer
