Hi :)

I own one of these boards and just recently got hold of a Celeron 600. I can post at 900, but it locks up at the start of loading windows. This is at 1.7v, the highest which it will allow me to select. However, I look in the CPU database and find many people using this board and chip, who are able to go much higher (eg. 2v).

Can someone please tell me what is going on here? Why can't I select a higher voltage?

Thanks :)

You will need to check and see if there is a BIOS update and there is a BIOS flashing trick but i'm not sure if it will work on your MB also there is Vidpining you can find this info at www.hardocp.com.

Yes! Thank you for that info! :)

I managed to find out about the bios flashing trick, and that worked well, so now my max voltage is 1.90v. My CPU isn't too stable though, even with the extra voltage, and I'm not sure it likes 1.9 too much either cos it wouldn't reboot sometimes at 1.9.

I think some burning in is required. :)
