Voodoo 3500 DirectX 8.1 drivers?

I can't find drivers for my Voodoo 3 3500 to support DirectX 8.1 (or 8 for that matter) anywhere. Anyone else able to find them?

I don't think there are any- the Voodoo3 was designed and sold before DX8 really became official if memory serves.

Yeah it's well before DX8
I'm wondering if any third parties have made drivers that work?

Most of the 3rd party drivers I used for my 3500 didn't work for anything...much less dx8.1

Yeah, the Voodoo's arent capable of performing any of the things enabled through directx8 or 8.1. When I was running a Voodoo 3 3000 the only thing that happened when I dled directX 8 was the video got a little bit more crisp. The last official driver from 3dfx seemed to work the best for me on windows 98. Its version 1.07 that I had good luck with. Try it out on Voodoofiles.com.
