Hey guys...here's the deal
I just got a wireless router Netgear wgt624 v3 and I basically got everything I could do with a crossover cable with the new router (eg print and file sharing, lan games, internet)...but now I can't create a Warcraft III LAN game at all using the wireless.
Both my main and lappy uses port 6112, so I had already set up the firewall and port forwarded it on my main pc to accept them (i hope)...and my lappy just uses windows firewall, and connects to the router using its Intel wireless card...
One thing i noticed is that i can't portforward the same ports to the two pc's, is that right? If so, how do i get them to recognize each other?
This should be the same for all other games, so if you guys got it working, please let me know how! post if anything is unclear too!
Edit - If anybody has ever done a Wireless LAN party, please tell me how you did it...
Edit #2 -- on 11/26 -- got it done, was able figure it out by disabling all the firewalls, then enabling each one until i found the cause.
