Woah. That's about all I can say. 1-2 ounces of water? That's it? At .3oz per minute???? Geez, no wonder the water "can reach 140 degrees Fahrenheit." If my conversion is correct, that's 0.14 gal/hour!! What kind of temps to laptops get, anyway? Anyone know? (anyone care.....??) And, how much is this contraption supposed to cool it?

Well, all I know is that the laptop I have at work gets mighty damn hot! I did read about this a few weeks ago. I think it's great that one of the mainstream vendors are looking into this. It can only do one thing: further the research and development of this obsession we call a hobby. On a side note, I don't see how the setup mentioned will do all that much to really cool it down. Just give em time. They'll figure out something that works great, or at least better than a heat pipe with a tiny mirco sized fan.........

I know some one that just got a 1ghz Duron Laptop and it has a fan that kicks in when it reaches a temp suprised that a processor can get that hot and not drain that battery. he has a nickel metal-hydrate(spelling?) and it lasts a whole 2 hours.

I got a brand new Celeron 1.1gig lap top and the same thing. CPU gets hot and the CPU fan kicks in. Battery also lasts 2 hours. And it does get mighty warm!!!
