Saw a review of this neat little program yesterday at Icrontic. I was instantly hooked. Anyways, I first just wanted everyone to see that article and get interested like I did. You should all read about it here.
A.I.Studio’s WatzNew is a system tray agent that can be programmed to monitor websites (or certain parts of websites) to check for content changes, this information can then be returned to you, to notify you to visit that page and view the fresh material, however, spend a little time customizing the program and you can actually display this information inside the program itself – this really does comes into effect if you wish to strip the latest headlines from a website and constantly monitor the new headlines as they are reported back to WatzNew.

In fact just about anything can be monitored using the WatzNew technology, email pop3 servers, ICQ numbers even the Hot Threads currently being discussed in IcronticForums! All it takes is a little knowledge of the program and some imagination.

Secondly since I don't yet have the registered version, I can't export any of the channels i set up for all the hardware sites i read. so i thought id just stick them up here for everyone, its kinda confusing to get them all setup so ill just do the work for you.

set up a channel for www.amdmb.com (go to add new, then select http, then type in www.amdmb.com)
Then go into the properties for your new channel and put this in the Search Pattern(its a tab in the properties window):
<p> <font face="Arial" size="3"><b>Web News</b></font>
</p>{%}<p> <font face="Arial" size="3"><b>Amdmb.com News</b></font>
</p>
in the Message Template(another tab) just put %1

for www.overclockers.com:
search pattern:
<p><b><div align="center"><font color="red">{*}</font></div></b><p>{%}<p><b><div align="center"><font color="red">{*}</font></div></b><p>

and again, just put %1 as the message template.

for icrontic, as they tell you in the article you can just go to http://a-i-studio.com/cgi-bin/wntree/tree.pl?page=1&sortmode=4&search=icrontic to get the premade channels for their news etc. you can also search for other sites there. but none save icrontic worked for me.

ps. (i know some of the html code i have in the search patterns is unneccesary, but i was just being thorough, and hey, it works!)

pps (if anyone can get anandtech.com or hardocp.com to work with this program i would be grateful for directions, i havent been able to. havent spent much time trying to get them to work though)
