I can barely get my celeron667 at a gig with a 55w peltier. at idle it is cool and i can barely get into windows at 2.2volts!! When i run 3D games naturally the temperature will rise and it freezes on me. I touch the cold plate and its nearly as hot as the base of my Heatsink.

I bring celeron to the default settings and the coldplate stays farely coolthroughout max load. Can a 72w or 85w peltier fix my cooling problem when i overclock it to 1ghz at 2.2v's???? hopefully i can get it stable at lower voltage.

1/8" copper coldplate peltier and a Fop-38 do u think the fop-38 can cool a 85watter?

Also if you are looking for a peltier they have some low price ones (i think) http://www.peltec.f2s.com they got a 85w peltier for $20 and i think it comes witha coldplate

Thanks

the 55w is small for a CPU at 1GHz, a 72w should pull it off, but a 85w will do it for sure.
