I think I fixed the problem but I just want to share because it seems a little odd. When I woke up today and went to hit the power button on my computer nothing happened. On the third time it booted up without a problem. I come home at lunch fire it up to make sure it's working OK. It fires up I use it for a few minutes and head back to work. I get home boot it up and during the boot proccess I hear an odd low frequency sound come from my speakers and the computer shuts down. I click the power button to start it back up but nothing happens. After about 15 tries I unplug The PSU, plug it back in and still nothing. So working from the simplest solution up I plug the PSU into a different outlet. Hit the switch, everything powers up fine.
What could have caused that? I have all my equipment speakers, monitor, modem, etc. all hooked up to one strip. Could everything just have been drawing too much power to handle? If so why would it act up now? I've never had a problem like this and would just like some insight into what could have caused it.
