Well, as suggested, I turned the #10 switch on in hopes of getting jumperless multiplier changing..didn't work...nor did I see any change...at first

Later, my comp suddenly crashed every 10 minutes..had to reboot..couldn't tell what was wrong....then..when I went to the BIOS it said my miltiplier was at 10.5..instead of the 9 it should have been in..

Now, this would have been correct had I been in jumper mode, but I wasn't...this was really weird..and quite unexpected...

What I'm wondering is, Has anyone else had this occur or is it even a normal thing?

With the A7A Mobo there is no way to change the multiplier in the Bios at this point that I know of. If ya want to OC then set the jumper from jumperless mode to manuel. Then set the dip switches to the mutiplier setting you want. Then Post the computer to and check the Cpu Mhz. If its correct then Move the jumper back to jumperless mode and then you should be able to tweak your FSB in the bios. Hope this helps.........

I have a wire to connect no10 dip switch &1004 bios my multipliers &fsb are easily adjusted from bios . Running 10*133 right now. Have run10*137, 11*120, 11*124 last 1 isn't real stable

Yes as soon as you moved the # 10 jumper to the on position. It automatically set the Multiplier to manual settings. So without moving anyother dip switches it would set it to 10.5. So that is right.

Turn #10 on put jumper in jen (jumper free mode) then all is adjustable from bios at least it works for me
