What're you Jackie Chan?
I wanted to elaborate a bit more on the PS3 and some of my initial impressions on the Playstation Network and the System itself.
First off, to say that the feature set of the PS3 is ROBUST would be an understatement. No other gaming system I've seen, besides the PC, even comes close. A lot of people spend too much time badmouthing the system to notice what it has over the competition. For example, I had completely forgotten that the PS3 has wi-fi built in (the 360 wireless adapter costs a ridiculous $100 or so). I gave the guy I sold my 360 to the ethernet cable and didn't know the PS3 wouldn't come with one. So I switched out the cable of my VOIP phone... but then I remembered the PS3 had built-in wifi... Not only that... but I was able to set the whole thing up in under a MINUTE.
On top of that it's obviously a Bluray player, and you can fold on it, AND you can put Linux on the damned thing, AND you can add more hard drive space by simply buying a 2.5 inch notebook hard drive and putting it in and formatting it. It's actually easier to change the hard drive on the PS3 than it is to change a notebook hard drive.
PSN is still nowhere close to Xbox Live. You can't chat and do ANYTHING ELSE for example. You can't chat and then go into a game (it'll cut you off when the game starts and then, if the game supports chat and your friend has the same game, you can start again), you can't chat and look at a picture, I don't think you can chat and listen to music unless you started listening to the music first.
This is cumbersome for a variety of reasons. Let's say, for example, you're in a private chat and you only want to talk to one person while you're playing COD4... it won't work because when you start COD4 it disconnects from the chat screen (and I don't think there's an option to chat with a single player in COD4.)
Another cool thing about the PS3 though is that it's QUIET. It's quieter than my PS2 ever was.
