The topic pretty much says it all!
After staying up 30+ hours (didnt go to bed yet, its noon already wow, sun up and all..) and reading everythign I could about the VP6.
Having praticaly found nothing negitive about this board.. and only positive reviews and comments from fellow overclockers (BIG shout to Tim- Thanks!!)
I decided to hit pricewatch.com find the best price vrs. resellerrattings.com.. this priceing sytem worked GREAT, find the lowest price then keep going up through the prices till you find atleast a 4+ reseller rateing with that company.
I ended up saving 20 bucks atleast, got the board for
146.00 + 13.11 (shipping was a BIT much) = 159.11
And then I saw it was selling on other sites for 165-175 bucks!!!, made me feel good
Now if I can just find a cherry p3 700e cCO to hold me over..
Thats it for this buying trip, next time I'm going to get another p3, 256mb pc150 ram.
After that I'll try to get a coulpe 80gig hd's (maybe just 40's)
Then I'll get a Geforce 3!....And I wont get anything for the rest of the year, hehehe ok, maybe just some second rate grafix card and o/c the sucker!
HEY still have my voodoo3 3000 pci, and it WORKS FINE at 200mhz
Anyways.. just wanted to let ya'll know that I'm on my way to the dual 1.0ghz club.. Thanks for the push Tim- !
