Ok, just got back from the pet store and saw one of these on the shelf. Looked it up on the Eheim website. http://www.eheim.com/
Check out the Professional II link. Specifically the 2026/2028 models since they don't have the heating element. Looks like it "could" work. Built in pump with decent gph flow rate. All I know is they looked hella sweet in the store. I dunno. Just thinking out loud.......

DOH! Guess I shoud read first eh? That thing is a little too big for my taste, but still looks cool with some nice options.

Yeah, it's pretty big. Damn nice looking though. I like the idea that it's all-in-one. Pump, res, quick release connector on top. I would imagine some mods would be in order, but hey, isn't that what we do best?
