CNR and AMR

These are slots just like PCI, but smaller... the AK31 has a CNR slot, and that's the only experience I've had with 'em. CNR cards as far as I know can be soundcards, nic's, modems, or modem & nic combo's.

from my experience with working on comps.. CNR slots use a whole lot more systen]m resources than PCI slots because they are leeching of you proc.

just another way for major manufactors to save money on components by using sucky cards and raise their stock a quarter of a point:rolleyes:
